What's this thing made of?
Our collars are polypropylene webbing, the same stuff used in climbing gear and marine rope. It's tough. The dual-prong buckle is zinc alloy with a nickel finish, and we rivet the adjustment slides instead of sewing them because rivets hold up better when your dog decides to lunge at a squirrel.
The prints are sublimation-dyed, which means the ink is heat-bonded into the webbing itself. It won't crack or peel like screen printing does. We've had customers send photos of collars after two years of daily use and beach swims and the pattern still looks new. Each one is cut and assembled in Quebec.
How do I wash this?
Machine wash in a mesh bag, cold water, gentle cycle. Skip the bleach and fabric softener, both break down polypropylene over time.
Hang to dry or lay flat. Takes about an hour, maybe two. Polypro doesn't hold water, so it dries fast. If your dog rolled in something questionable mid-walk, a damp cloth and mild soap will handle it until laundry day. The dye won't bleed onto fur or clothes.
Will this fit my dog?
Three sizes: Small fits 9–14" necks (Chihuahuas, Frenchies), Medium fits 13–20" (Beagles, Corgis, Spaniels), Large fits 18–28" (Labs, Shepherds, Goldens).
